tcsh for Debian --------------- The conffile /etc/csh.cshrc has as default the "del" key bound to delete-char. The manual file has been updated to reflect this. You may want to set a symbolic link to /bin/tcsh in the /usr/local/bin directory. Most tcsh scripts use this path. There is a FAQ describing why csh programming is considered harmful. Setting the link up is also useful when you have a network with various Unix boxen and users which use /usr/local/bin/tcsh as their shells. There are two tcsh related mailing lists, visit http://www.tcsh.org/MailingLists if you want to subscribe. The tcsh bug tracker is available at http://bugs.gw.com/ -- Thomas Lange <lange@debian.org>, Thu, 21 Jul 2011 22:36:15 +0200
